Fruity Yogurt Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 cup Purabi plain yogurt (curd): remove water as much as possible
- 1/2 cup of Purabi low fat milk (smart milk)
- 1/2 banana
- 1/4 cup frozen mango
- 1/4 cup frozen sliced peaches/apples
- Some strawberries/ raspberries
Method:
- Place ingredients into blender starting with curd and ending with frozen fruit.
- Let sit the frozen fruit to defrost a bit (for easier blending).
- Blend and enjoy.
Vanila Yogurt Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Purabi curd
- 100 ml milk
- 2 scoops of vanilla ice-cream
- Fruit slices of your choice (for garnish)
- Ice cubes
- Whipped cream – to taste
- Cinnamon – to taste
Method:
- Combine milk, curd and vanilla ice cream in a bowl.
- Then mix the ingredients in a blender and place the mixture in a fridge for 20 minutes.
- Pour the cocktail in a glass. Add some ice cubes and the fruit slices.
- Top the cocktail with whipped cream and your choice of fruit slice. Serve at once.
Cookie Oatmeal Shake
Ingredients
- 1 cup Purabi standard milk
- 2 cups Purabi curd
- 1/3 cup oats
- 1 large frozen banana
- 1 tablespoon almond paste/powder
- 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup/ honey
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence
- Small pinch salt
Method
- In a small jar, combine milk and oats. Place in the fridge overnight.
- In the morning, blend together soaked oats mixture and remaining ingredients.
- Add enough milk to get the blender spinning.
- Garnish with your choice of cookies and cookie crumbs.
