Kids Friendly Apple Smoothie
Kids love apple! This low calorie super fruit is rich in many essential nutrients. To keep your kid healthy and away from obesity, why not incorporate apples in his/her daily diet? Try this simple recipe he or she can enjoy as an evening snack or as a quick breakfast.
Ingredients:
- Apple - 1 large
- Purabi Milk- 1/ 2 cup
- Purabi plain yogurt - 1/3 cup
- Almonds – 5 /6 (soaked overnight)
- Vanilla ice-cream mix – 1 tsp Or
- Vanila essence – 1/2 tsp
- Honey/ Sugar - 1 tsp
Method:
- Peel and cut apple into halves remove the core and cut apple into large pieces
- Add apple and almond in a blender jar.
- Add milk, yogurt and honey.
- Blend until smooth and no chunks are left from fruits and nut.
- Pour over a serving glass and sprinkle cinnamon/cardamom powder.
- Garnish of your choice
